Dermot Mulroney and Winona Ryder star in Gone In The Night after over two decades of working together.
The Synopsis
Upon arriving at a remote cabin in the redwoods, Kath (Winona Ryder, “Little Women”) and her boyfriend (John Gallagher Jr., “10 Cloverfield Lane”) find a mysterious young couple (Owen Teague, “It” and Brianne Tju, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”) already there — the rental has apparently been double-booked. With nowhere else to go, they decide to share the cabin with these strangers. When her boyfriend mysteriously disappears with the young woman, Kath becomes obsessed and enlists an unlikely supporter (Dermot Mulroney, “My Best Friend’s Wedding”) with finding an explanation for their sudden breakup— but the truth is far stranger than she could have ever imagined.
In 1986 Dermot Mulroney left the state of Illinois for Hollywood. Three months later he made his debut as an actor on the small screen in Sin of Innocence. He is known for hits like My Best Friend’s Wedding, Young Guns, The Family Stone, Insidious 3, August: Osage County and many others. Earlier this year Mulroney was seen in Agent Game, Netflix movies Along for the Ride and Umma alongside Sandra Oh. Mulroney has several pending projects, including Section Eight with the favorite Dolph Lundgren.

I had the opportunity to speak with Dermot Mulroney about Gone In The Night. He spoke about spoilers and twists of the film without holding back on spoilers. The actor expressed feeling flattered that the writers of the film, Matthew Derby and Eli Horowitz had him and Ryder in mind for this film. And of course the reunion with Ryder was discussed, aging and more!
