Did fans just help get Cadsuane cast for The Wheel of Time? If that headline confuses you, let me explain. There is a character called Cadsuane who will come into the story in later Seasons of the show. This character many fans including me had already fan cast. Specifically the overwhelming top choice for the role was Shohreh Aghdashloo pictured above in her most popular role in The Expanse.
I won’t give story spoiler away and you non-readers don’t yet need to know anything about the Cadsuane character. However if you are a book reader and have ever seen Shohreh Aghdashloo in anything you will probably agree with the majority of the fans, including me as said above. The point is that her possible casting looks very possible now. Fans asking Aghdashloo to play Cadsuane in the show prompted the actress to ask Rafe Judkins the showrunner what this was all about. Wait is this a story that paints social media in a positive light? That does not happen very often, if only we could use this power for good rather than evil? Anyway, the point is that nothing is signed here folks. However, considering The Expanse is on its final season, who knows. Cadsuane probably won’t show up until around Season 4 or 5 in my estimation. It’s therefore not as if this is some rush job to cast. Let’s hope Aghdashloo is available as she is kick ass and would therefore be perfect for the non nonsense Cadsuane Sedai.
