Dilan Jay looks to make his American acting debut in the action-thriller Hollow Point. And, it’s an exciting one.
The Sri Lankan-American musician plays the tormented Nolan Cooray, whose family was gunned down by a notorious crime lord for witnessing a crime on the street. In his revengeful despair, Corray learns to fight in prison and gets recruited by a vigilante group hellbent on bringing justice onto the streets.
The cast also includes Luke Goss, Jay Mohr, JuJu Chan, Michael Pare, and Bill Duke. Daniel Zirilli directed the movie from the script written by Chad Law, Evan Law, and Zirilli.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked with actor Dilan Jay and director Daniel Zirilli on the thrilling action with Hollow Point. We talked about the fight choreography, getting into character, and making the adjustment from singer to acting.
Dilan Jay is an American producer, actor, screenwriter, and musician with films and music albums. He has three published screenplays for film in television. Currently, Dilan is finalizing a screenplay for a major film called Crossing Over with Halcyon Films. He is the first musical artist of Sri Lankan heritage to land in the U.S. Billboard Charts, with a #1 on MTV’s Most Popular Music Videos.
Daniel Zirilli has directed 25 feature films and produced over 50 other movies. Also, he directed over 250 music videos and won numerous awards. His latest films included Invincible starring Johnny Strong, Marko Zaror, Sally Kirkland, Michael Pare, and Vladimir Kulich. Also, he directed along with Michael Merino in the action film Acceleration that starred Dolph Lundgren, Sean Patrick Flanery, Natalie Burn, Chuck Liddell, Jason London, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and Danny Trejo. He wrote Lionsgate’s Black Beauty that starred Luke Perry and Bruce Davidson.
