Dirty Angels | Ruby Rose on Returning to a Different Action Film

Ruby Rose in Dirty Angels

Ruby Rose is no stranger to action films. As a Bonafide action heroine on screen, she seeks different projects at this career point and possibly from action. The military-inspired film Dirty Angels fits all of her criteria, including a compelling story and drama-inspired film about a squad of female soldiers.

The mostly female cast includes Eva Green (Casino Royale, Penny Dreadful), Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, The Apprentice), Ruby Rose, and Jojo T. Gibbs (Fresh, Civil War). Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, Vertical Limit) from a screenplay by Campbell, Alissa Sullivan Haggis, Jonas McCord, and Gene Quinano.

Here is the official synopsis:

From Martin Campbell, director of Casino Royale, comes this tense action-thriller. When a group of schoolgirls is taken hostage in Afghanistan, an American soldier named Jake (Eva Green) joins an all-women commando unit to liberate them. The plan: Gain the trust of the terrorists by posing as members of a relief organization. But double-crosses, tragedies, and the ghosts of Jake’s past complicate the rescue in this do-or-die mission.
