The latest promo for Disney+ Day gives a title for the Boba Fett documentary premiering on November 12th. The doc will be called Under The Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett. Of course, the documentary itself is not what has got fans excited about Boba Fett on Disney+ Day. It’s the anticipation that we may also get our first look at the new show, The Book of Boba Fett. Disney has not said whether a trailer will be released or not. However, given the premiere of The Book of Boba Fett is December 29th, it seems like a great time to show us at least a teaser.
Of course older fans, like myself, probably won’t need much of an introduction into who Boba Fett is, or his legacy in the franchise. In fact, that much is probably true for the majority of the Star Wars fan base. Fett always was a popular character after all, though I’m never quite sure why? So for fans like me, I’m sure they’ll have a look, but the Under the Helmet doc itself simply isn’t that exciting frankly.

Disney do have a habit so far of only marketing their Disney+ shows closer to the dates. However, marketing has so far begun just over a month from release. At least, if we go by how Marvel Studios has worked so far. There’s no guarantee that Lucasfilm will follow suit. However, it does seem like a wasted opportunity if Disney don’t give us at least a teaser of what’s to come in The Book of Boba Fett.
I guess we will find out on November 12th.
Are you in any way excited to see the Boba Fett documentary, Under the Helmet, or like everyone else, are you just waiting for a teaser? Thoughts below as always.
