Exterminate! Exterminate! Don’t you love those words, especially when spoken in a robotic tone by evil machines hell-bent on doing what they do best; exterminating? That sweet single word holds a special place in the hearts of all Doctor Who fans.
The Time Lord is back! Thank you, Comic-Con. The series 11, trailer for Doctor Who is here. The latest trailer follows on the heels of the teaser released just 4 days ago. Sadly, there is no sign of the TARDIS in any of the trailer’s footage. What we do get is an introduction to the Doctor’s gang of comrades that will no doubt be rollicking around time to right wrongs, battle Dalek’s, and save the universe.
Villains are noticeably absent from the trailer, but don’t fret. I am sure the series will have some awesome villains this series. The trailer certainly captures the series’ science fiction spirit.
One thing is certain, Jodie Whitaker looks the part as the Thirteenth Doctor. She would certainly make her previous incarnations proud. She looks poised to become a new favorite for fans of the series. When asked about the new series, Whittaker told RadioTimes the following: “This is Doctor Who, so we know there will be a Tardis, a sonic screwdriver – and me and my new friends.”
