Does Titans First Look Reveal Another Young Justice Member?

Last year DC Universe’s first live actions series was Titans. It introduced us to Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson aka Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r aka Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth aka Raven and Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan aka Beast Boy. This series was also our introduction to the next live action series, Doom Patrol and then the unrelated series Swamp Thing which unfortunately we will not see more of. With that said Titans are back this September with all new episodes as well as a few new faces.

This morning we got our first look for the series second season via DC Universe. If you haven’t checked it out, you can see it via the link below! In the footage we see many of the upcoming new characters that we are all very excited to see like Aqualad, played by Drew Van Acker, Connor Kent aka Superboy in his traditional black shirt with a red Superman symbol, played by Joshua Orpin, Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl, yes she is not new but now we see her in costume, Rose Wilson aka Ravenger, played by Chelsea T. Zhang and Joseph Wilson, played by Chella Man. Not to mention that the trailer begins with our first look at Game of Thrones alumni Iain Glen and it ends with an ominous first look at Esai Morales as the villainous Deathstroke.

But if you look close enough in the trailer, there may be another character that you may have missed. At about twelve seconds into the trailer, Starfire and Wonder Girl are engaged in combat with what looks like a certain fan favorite female character from the animated Young Justice series. As you can see by a screen grab below, the blurry figure appears to be wearing a blue skirt and cape. Not only that but she has what looks like to be bright red hair and possible green screen. Any guesses on who it could be? Check it out!

Hello Megan! The internet this evening is suggesting that this character is none other than Miss Martian. If it is her, I find it to be a very ambitious add on to the series as it is already so jam packed with new characters. But it would make perfect sense as her character could be somehow involved with Project Cadmus and maybe even start a live action relationship with Superboy who she is currently engaged with in Young Justice: Outsiders.

Here is the synopsis for DC Universe’s Titans:
Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and lovable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

Do you think that looks like Miss Martian in the footage? Would you like to see her in the second season of Titans? Let us know in the comment section below!

DC Universe’s Titans second season kicks off September 6th, 2019 exclusively in their streaming service. The first full season can be seen there as well if you need to catch up!
