Don’t Expect Rhino In Spider-Man No Way Home | Barside Buzz

Paul Giamatti Rhino

It sounds like we won’t be seeing the appearance of Rhino in Spider-Man: No Way Home. While rumors have become rampant since the announcement of the movie the biggest mystery has been which villains would appear in the film.  With the claims that villains like Green Goblin, Electro, Doc Ock, and Vulture making a reappearance in the film, fans started theorizing about other villains that will appear. Recently rumors have the Rhino, played by Paul Giamatti, being added to the list of villains of the film.

In an interview with Comicbook.com promoting his upcoming film Gunpowder Milkshake, Giamatti expressed “I’m happy. I hadn’t followed any of [these rumors]. Somebody else just asked me about this, so I hadn’t been following. I’m okay with that. I’m certainly okay to just leave it all where it is. It’s fine with me.”

Of all the actors that have been rumored to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home there hasn’t been any information to confirm the reappearance of Rhino.  The biggest rumor that has linked back to Rhino’s appearance is the formation of the Sinister Six. While some plot points have been rumored around the internet, there hasn’t been a lot of steam behind the formation of the Sinister Six.

Paul Giamatti’s career in the Spider-Man universe was very short-lived with just two small scenes in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The movie was not received well among fans and critics leading Sony to team up with Marvel Studios to reboot the franchise.  That, unfortunately, did not bode well for Paul Giamatti if had hoped to reappear as Rhino in future Spider-Man films.

What do you all think about Paul Giamatti’s comments? Do you think that the Rhino should make an appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home? Let us know in the comments section below.
