Martin Wood’s directing career ranges from sci-fi films to romantic films. Or even lately, with Christmas romantic films. So when the thriller Double Life came across his desk, he immediately jumped into the director’s chair for something entirely different late.

The film stars Javicia Leslie (Batwoman, Something from Tiffany’s), Pascale Hutton (Sanctuary, Artic Air), and Vincent Gale (Last Wedding). The story is from Mike Hurst with the screenplay by Hurst and Chris Sivertson.

Here is the official synopsis:

A grieving widow learns from her late husband’s mistress that his death was no accident. The two women will form an unlikely alliance to uncover the truth behind his murder and unmask the man they both loved.
