Dr. Fate in Upcoming NBC’s ‘Constantine’ TV Show?

“Constantine” may be an original comic book series published by DC Comics, the TV show is already hinting other DC characters into the mix.

In a recently released trailer by NBC for the show, the trailer revealed Dr. Fate’s helmet at the 47-48 second mark. The Helmet of Nabu has made its presence known, so now it’s the matter of time for revealing more DC characters.

Dr. Fate’s last live-action appearance on television was on “Smallville” and played by Brent Stait. The character has appeared in several animated TV shows and films. He has magical powers for spell casting, which fits perfectly in the world of the supernatural “Constantine.”

The upcoming TV stars Matt Ryan as John Constantine, a dark magician trying to protect humanity from supernatural threats. The pilot episode will be directed by Neil Marshall and written by Daniel Cerone and David Goyer.

It will air Friday nights, premiering on October 24th, later this year.
