Some of us are incredibly happy, while others of us are pretty indifferent. Dr. Jammer puts on his analysis hat and breaks down the disparate responses to Dune.
After teaser trailers, opening credits and Lost Sessions, The Lads get a proper look at the upcoming anime adaptation from Netflix, Cowboy Bebop. Is it anything like the anime it’s based on and will it be good? We’ll find out soon. Danny’s oddly excited for an anime property, which is adding to Jonesy’s anxiety.
Pixar drops their initial teaser for Lightyear, the spinoff from Disney’s Toy Story series. Not much is known about the project, except that Chris Evans will be portraying the titular spaceman.
Staying with Disney, we’ve gotten word that National Treasure is being developed as a series over at Disney plus, with Lisette Alexis starring and Jerry Bruckheimer producing. We think we’ll get a different spin on investigating America’s history.
We also react to Bill Murray spilling the beans about his upcoming role in Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania in an unspecified role that Jonesy totally thinks is Scott Lang’s dad.
Finally, for Halloween, we reflect on the 25th anniversary of Scream and what has made this franchise so sticky, as well as spewing random facts about the first film in the franchise.
