Dune: Part Three Final Trailer: The Fight For Arrakis Comes To An End
The final fight for Arrakis is almost here. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have released the final trailer for Dune: Part Three, offering one last look at Denis Villeneuve’s conclusion to his acclaimed adaptation of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi saga before it lands in theaters next month.

After two films that transformed one of literature’s most famously “unfilmable” novels into a box office and awards-season force, Villeneuve now closes the book on the story of Paul Atreides, and the trailer makes it clear that the cost of his rise is finally coming due.
Emperor Paul Faces The Price Of Power
Dune: Part Three jumps ahead nearly two decades after Paul Atreides seized control of the Imperium. No longer the young exile who found refuge among the Fremen, Paul now rules as a ruthless Emperor, and his reign is beginning to catch up with him.
Old allies are returning, terrifying new threats are emerging and betrayal lurks in every shadow. Haunted by visions of Imperial collapse and the reappearance of his long-lost love, Paul is pulled into a sweeping conspiracy, with Chani at the heart of its unfolding mystery. As his enemies close in, Paul must confront the true cost of power and the fate of the people he loves most.

Timothée Chalamet returns as Paul alongside Zendaya as Chani, and the ensemble is stacked with familiar and new faces. Jason Momoa is back after sitting out Part Two, joined by returning stars Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem. Isaach de Bankolé also joins the cast, while Anya Taylor-Joy, who made a surprise cameo in Part Two, and Robert Pattinson round out the lineup.
Villeneuve directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Brian K. Vaughan, the acclaimed comic book writer behind Saga and Y: The Last Man, based on Herbert’s novels.
The Team Behind The Finale
Villeneuve has brought back much of the Oscar-winning creative team that built the world of Arrakis. Director of photography Linus Sandgren takes over the camera, joined by production designer Patrice Vermette, editor Joe Walker, costume designer Jacqueline West, visual effects supervisors Paul Lambert and Mag Sarnowska, VFX house DNEG and casting director Francine Maisler. Hans Zimmer returns to score the trilogy’s final chapter.

The film is produced by Mary Parent, Tanya Lapointe, Villeneuve, Cale Boyter and Joe Caracciolo, Jr. Executive producers include Joshua Grode, Thomas Tull, Herbert W. Gains, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert, Kevin J. Anderson, Richard P. Rubinstein, John Harrison and Jessica Derhammer.
Dune: Part Three is a Legendary Pictures production in association with Image Nation Studios. It opens only in theaters and IMAX across North America on December 18, 2026, with its international rollout beginning December 16. Warner Bros. Pictures distributes worldwide, with Legendary East handling China.
