According to the recent report by Deadline, Dune: Part Two is delayed. The article also has a date set for the release of the Godzilla Vs Kong sequel. First off, let’s talks Dune.
Dune: Part Two is delayed, but not to worry too much, its not for long. Instead of releasing as planned on October 20th of 2023, the movie will now release on November 17th. Interestingly Dune: Part Two is now set to go to war with The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes from Lionsgate. The upcoming prequel is also set for the exact same date. Will Lionsgate move, or go up against Dune: Part Two? We shall have to wait and see.
Dune was excellent, one of the best films of 2021, though with the pandemic that would not be hard. However, I genuinely think Dune would be one of the better films of any year it hit.
Godzilla Vs Kong Sequel
Moving on we have a date finally set for the sequel to Godzilla Vs Kong. Of course, we know nothing about this movie other than it will be the next step in the MonsterVerse. Will it feature either, or both of the aforementioned titular characters this time around. Ultimately one could argue if it stars Godzilla, this is actually just Godzilla 4. However we will have to wait for more details.
The sequel from Legendary has been dated for March 15, 2024.
Godzilla vs. Kong filmmaker Adam Wingard returns to direct. Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing.
I’m not sure where the MonsterVerse goes next, or sure I care? However, likely, just as I did the rest, I will probably end up watching this Godzilla Vs Kong sequel when it hits streaming or home rental. What can I say, I like big monsters.
