With in-person convention season underway, Paramount Pictures rolls the dice to promote the first look of its anticipated Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves at San Diego Comic-Con International 2022 later this month.

Comic-con attendees will have their first glimpse of the film based on the popular role-playing game in SDCC’s infamous Hall H on Thursday, July 21^st, at 12:00 p.m. PT.

Although it’s still early in its announcement, it is expected nearly all of the cast and crew will be in Hall H.

The film stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, and Hugh Grant. The director team of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daly are at the helm with the story by Chris McKay and Michael Gilio.

Attendees of the Hall H panel will receive an exclusive collectible Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves poster.

For those folks excited for activations and pop-ups, Paramount Pictures, in partnership with eOne, plan for their tavern experience as a tie-in for the movie. Inside the tavern, there’ll be a peek into the world of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Inside the pop-up, visitors will have a 20-minute tour that includes unique photo-ops, exclusive takeaways, and a sip of its specially made Dragon Brew while interacting with the D&D’s creatures and characters.

Boss Logic provides the custom artwork as limited edition giveaways at the Tavern Experience. And Quincy’s Tavern provides the Dragon Brew, which comes as an alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink.

The Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Tavern Experience is located in the heart of Gaslamp Quarter on the corner of Sixth Avenue and Island Avenue.

Thursday, July 21: 12 p.m.- 10 p.m. PT

Friday, July 22: 10 .m. – 8 p.m. PT

Saturday, July 23: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. PT

Reservation spots will be available soon on the film’s social media channels. There will be a stand-by line on a first-come, first-served basis. The outside SDCC event is no charge for admission and opened to all ages.

Personally, I had a glimpse of Chris Pine in the film, along with dragons, from a sizzle reel presented at CinemaCon 2022 earlier this year. If fantasy is your game, you won’t be disappointed cause directing and writing team of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are two hilarious individuals with an eye on geeks and nerds.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is in theaters on March 3, 2023.
