Dustin Hoffman Accused Of Sexual Harassment Against 17-Year-Old Intern

Another accusation has come out, and this time from a woman by the name of Anna Graham Hunter. You likely wouldn’t recognize the name, as she hasn’t worked on anything in a hot minute, but in 1985, she served as an intern on the 1985 TV movie Death of a Salesman. In a guest column on THR, Hunter accused acclaimed actor Dustin Hoffman of sexually harassing her when she was 17.

Here’s what she had to say in her piece:

“When I was a senior in high school in New York City, interning as a production assistant on the set of the Death of a Salesman TV film, he asked me to give him a foot massage my first day on set; I did. He was openly flirtatious, he grabbed my ass, he talked about sex to me and in front of me. One morning I went to his dressing room to take his breakfast order; he looked at me and grinned, taking his time. Then he said, ‘I’ll have a hard-boiled egg … and a soft-boiled clitoris.’ His entourage burst out laughing. I left, speechless. Then I went to the bathroom and cried.”

In addition to this statement, she also published her own writings in those weeks on set, a lot of which shows off some of Hoffman’s other inappropriate moments. In one entry, she said he pestered Hunter about having sex — more specifically scolding her for not having sex over the weekend (to be clear, not with him, just in general).

Another entry had the following exchange between Hoffman and another woman.

“Elizabeth asked him what he wanted for lunch and [Hoffman] said, ‘Your left breast.’

‘You’re disgusting.’

‘OK, your right breast.’

‘You pig.’ She walked away.”

Even worse was that the office assistant said that if the producer of the film had heard Elizabeth say that to Hoffman, she would have been “gone in a second.”

These are just a few of more than a handful of stories outlined in the full piece, which you can check out HERE.

In regards to these accusations, Hoffman gave THR the following statement:

“I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation. I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.”

Hoffman is just one of the latest big Hollywood names that have been entered on a long list of sexual harassers — a list that now includes Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, and Brett Ratner.
