Simple weddings end up being the most complicated ones.

The independent film “Barn Wedding” is about a young couple who had to reschedule their picturesque summer wedding to the rural and remote dead of winter—they are forced to face how well they truly know each other and the people closest to them.

The film stars Emily Coutts, Kelly McCormack, Brett Donahue, Shaun Benson, Lara Jean Chorostecki, Kaleb Alexander, Christopher Hayes and Kate Corbett. It is directed by Benson. The screenplay is written by McCormack.

Latino-Review had an exclusive interview with the cast of “Barn Wedding.” The sit-down interview included cast members McCormack, Coutts and Hayes. We had a diverse conversation about the shooting schedule, challenges, rural settings, Canada and weddings.

“Barn Wedding” was shown at this year’s Dances with Films Festival 2015.
