El Rey Network To Air Handpicked Animated Shorts, Hosted By Book Of Life Director

El Rey Network’s “The People’s Network Showcase” returns with the “Animation Edition Vol. 2,” featuring 15 films released both on-air and digitally on El Rey Network’s YouTube page. The on-air special features 2 hours of 15 hand-picked short films and exclusive interviews with stand-out rising independent filmmakers from around the world. “The People’s Network Showcase: Animation Edition Vol. 2,” hosted by acclaimed animated film director Jorge Gutierrez (The Book of Life), will debut on Sunday, March 25th, 2018 at 8pm ET.

El Rey Network founder and maverick filmmaker Robert Rodriguez had a vision to create a place where all creators’ work could be seen and celebrated on broadcast television. The People’s Network Showcase is that place. Filmmakers can submit their films for consideration to El Rey Network’s “The People’s Network Showcase” HERE.
