Elizabeth Banks’ Charlie’s Angels Are Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska

Director Elizabeth Banks, who is set to helm the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot, has found her titular Angels. According to THR, the trio who will be taking on these iconic characters are Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska.

Stewart, of course, is known by many for her work in the Twilight Saga, but has since gone on to be an indie darling for films like Personal Shopper and Certain Women. Scott is best known for starring in 2017’s Power Rangers reboot, but she also landed a HUGE gig when she was cast as Jasmine for Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Aladdin. Ella Balinska is a relatively new talent whose filmography mostly consists of short films up until this point, so she could be a real wild card.

In addition to directing, Banks herself will be playing Bosley, who is the face of the detective agency for which the women work — and the figurehead for the enigmatic and elusive Charlie Townshend.

Charlie’s Angels, for me, is one of the original brands to celebrate the empowered woman since its debut in the ’70s,” said Banks in a statement. “This film honors the legacy of Charles Townsend and his agency while introducing a new era of modern and global Angels. I couldn’t be more excited to work with Kristen, Naomi and Ella to bring this chapter to fans around the world.”
