The epic crossover between Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash is drawing ever closer. Every year, a good chunk of the DC shows on The CW bleed into each other’s worlds over the course of several episodes, and while the result has been a decidedly mixed bag in terms of overall quality, they certainly always seem to be having a whole lot of fun with what they’re doing.

The first big crossover a few years back saw aliens invading, and last year was Crisis on Earth-X. Both are certainly pretty damn ambitious, but this looks to be ambitious in a whole new way. For starters, things are decidedly more personal, with the plot revolving around Oliver Queen and Barry Allen, who have switched places for an inexplicable reason.

From there, things will spiral further out of control, with some megalomaniac bringing in the likes of Batwoman, old-school Flash (yes, from the old TV show), and even black-suited Superman. Needless to say, the good guys will overcome all sorts of obstacles before rising to the occasion, but HOW will it all go down? We’ll have to wait until the three-episode crossover.

Elseworlds begins on Sunday, December 9 on The CW! Will you be there to see this whole deal go down? Let us know your thoughts down below!
