Emmanuel “Manny” Garcia Talks His Experience on Fox’s LEGO Masters Season One [Exclusive Interview]

Emmanuel “Manny” Garcia had no regrets and the best time on Fox’s LEGO Masters premiere season last year.

In fact, his experiences on the unscripted reality competition helped him bond with his father, Nestor, even more.

With season two of Fox’s LEGO Masters underway, it was the perfect time for this former contestant to reflect on this very fun show and give helpful advice to the current and future contestants.

Last year, there were 10 paired teams competing for the ultimate cash prize of $100,000, LEGO trophy, the the right to call themselves as LEGO Masters. The father-son team, Manny and Nestor, were eliminated in the fourth episode of the television series.

For this season, the challenges for LEGO challenges are more intense and they LEGO competition teams are expanded to twelve teams. The prize remains the same with $100,000, a LEGO Masters trophy, and the title of LEGO Master.

The judges are LEGO Masters of The LEGO Company senior design manager and creative lead Jamie Berard and The LEGO Company senior design manager Amy Corbett. Returning host Will Arnett is no stranger to the LEGO family as he voiced LEGO Batman in the LEGO Movie franchise, including The LEGO Batman Movie, and the The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with Emmanuel “Manny” Garcia of the father-son team. We talked about his experience on the show, on how he got into LEGOs, and that the show brought him closer to his father and LEGOs.
