Erika Alexander and Zolee Griggs play meaningful roles as the female protagonist in Wu-Tang: An American Saga.
The Synopsis
The Clan is disillusioned with life in the projects, and Bobby (Ashton Sanders, “Moonlight”) knows that success in the music industry could be their ticket to better lives. But getting the Clan members to drop everything for music isn’t easy. The resentment between Dennis (Siddiq Saunderson, “Messiah”), Sha (Shameik Moore, “Spider-Man: Intro The Spider-Verse”), Power (Marcus Callender, “Power”) and Divine (Julian Elijah Martinez, “Prodigal Son”) still runs deep, while the other Clan members struggle dealing with intercity life. This time around, Bobby is dedicated to authenticity and though he knows he can lead his crew through the challenges of the music business, the Clan’s fractures may prove too much to overcome.

Erika Alexander has been in the show biz since the mid 80s. She is a writer, producer, actress and activist. Most people remember her playing Pam Tucker from the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show and the Living Single series. Alexander has also been in films like Long Walk Home, Deja Vu, Get Out and John Lewis: Good Trouble.
