The Descendents is one of the most influential bands to the modern day pop punk and skate pop bands.

It is claimed many bands like Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, The All-American Rejects and The Offspring were influenced by The Descendents.

From the directors of Matt Riggle and Deedle LaCour, they made a documentary called, “FILMAGE: The Story of DESCENDENTS/ALL,” chronicling the journey of this punk band.

The documentary included interviews from Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana), Mark Hoppus (Blink-182), Matt Watt (Minutemen) and Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion).

The film is currently available on Digital/VOD through FilmBuff and on Blu-ray/DVD.
