F9 Behind The Scenes Footage Shows Plenty of “Car”nage

F9

Summer can’t be here soon enough.

Universal Pictures released the behind-the-scenes footage from the next installment of the Fast & Furious franchise with F9.

With the video, plenty of vehicles of all types laid waste with all the maneuvering with Toretto and the gang.

From director Justin Lin, it proves that the franchise continues to defy the laws of physics. This footage video shows the usage of stunt driving, robot cameras, and even robotic catapults flinging small vehicles into the air.

One of the scenes I haven’t seen before in a car stunt on a racetrack for this franchise. Definitely a sight to watch.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).

Returning cast members also include Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron. The film newcomers include singing superstar Cardi B as the new franchise character Leysa, and a cameo by Reggaeton sensation Ozuna.
