Fall Guys On Xbox This Summer

Fall Guys on Xbox is finally happening this summer. The popular game that see’s large numbers of players control jelly like men around assault courses has been huge. Up until now though, you could only play the game on PlayStation or PC. There has been rumblings and rumors about an Xbox release for some time. Developers Mediatonic even went as far to deny early rumors that a deal had been struck. But, I guess the jungle drums were right on this one. Yesterday an announcement was made on Xbox.com. You can read the full article through the link, but here is the announcement post from Fall Guys.

“Our whole team cannot wait to welcome Xbox players to the Blunderdome for all sorts of bean-based mayhem — it’s certainly been a while coming, but we’re here and couldn’t be happier,” said Joe Walsh, Lead Game Designer at Mediatonic, as part of yesterday’s announcement. “There’s a delicious selection of dapper costumes, imaginative rounds, features and improvements in the pipeline.” Walsh added, “and I can’t wait to share them all with our lovely new Xbox audience this Summer.”

Since I first saw the game I felt like this would be a good laugh with friends. You know the score in this kinda game, friends get left behind, every gamer for themselves. I do know the online streaming scene for this has quietened down considerably since the game was first released. I might not watch a lot of the online gamers, but I have a kid who does. Most of his favorites streamers have moved on, mostly to Among Us, which is also coming to Xbox this summer.

Yep, I can see a summer of some crazy games of Fall Guys and Among Us ahead, and it sounds great. Any fans glad to finally see Fall Guys on Xbox, or any Xbox owners just happy to get the opportunity to try it? As always leave any thoughts you have below.
