Fan-Cut Trailer For Justice League: Black Suit Edition

It’s been over a year since the Snyder/Whedon directed Justice League premiered. The film was in production when a personal tragedy forced Snyder to step down. Avengers director Joss Whedon was brought in to replace him. It would be Whedon’s first DC film, and his third superhero film.

The film would mark Watchmen director Zack Snyder’s third spot as director on a DC Comics film. The film has a 40% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and in the wake of the film’s release, there has been a surge of support for Snyder’s cut of Justice League. One supporter of Snyder’s version has gone so far to add new color correction to several scenes from Justice League, which very much look like the pallets are inspired by Snyder’s work. There is even an added scene of Batman firing a Parademon turret. In the end, it amounts to a commercial of what fans surely wish were the onscreen outcome of Justice League.

You can check out the trailer above.

Does that make you want a Snyder cut a little more? I must say the darker palette suits the scene better than the onscreen action we got in theatres. Whenever or if ever a Snyder cut will be released is debatable. Snyder himself has been taking to the Vero social platform to post Justice League content not included in the film’s release. So, there’s proof there’s more content out there.

Even some of the films talent have given hope to the idea there’s another version of Justice League that just hasn’t been released yet. Back in October 2018, Justice League star Ray Fisher was at the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest New Jersey when he commented “Zack had very specific plans for Cyborg, and for his trajectory. And Zack probably shot enough footage in the first film to make like two movies out of. He definitely had a whole, I believe, a trilogy in mind, with respect to Justice League.”
