I heard the rumors that Luke Skywalker might show up during this season of The Mandalorian. I didn’t think they would do it, but they did it. Many fans around the world were brought to tears as soon as that hood came off. Many of us already knew it was Luke upon seeing the lone X-Wing fly in. For others it the single glove.

Full confirmation came when we saw his face (yeah it could have looked a little better, but for me, it’s really not problem). The YouTube Channel, Mixed Reactions has made an awesome compilation of fans’ reactions. You can check it out below.

The return Luke Skywalker scene in The Mandalorian finale was amazing, thanks Lucasfilm. I think it’s safe to say most of us Star Wars fans loved it. I know there are a few out there who are going to call it fan service and I supposed they would be correct. However, I think it’s was a part of the story that also happened to be fan service.

Disney, this is what we wanted all along. That was all you had to do to win us over. I say give Favreau and Filoni the keys. Let them be Lucasfilm’s Kevin Feige.
