DC fans today are convinced that alongside Michael Keaton’s return, his old Batmobile is back for The Flash also. A prop designer working in the DCEU revealed an Instagram image which clearly shows the Keaton Batmobile in a close up shot. Fans have been reacting by saying this Batmobile has been rebuilt for The Flash, but that’s not clear at all. You can see that image below courtesy of r/DCSpoilers on Reddit. Or you can check the original image from Picture Vehicles LTD Instagram.
The thing here is, I don’t necessarily see any connection to The Flash? There might well be a connection, but until we know if this is something for The Flash or not, it could simply be an old movie prop. Considering how many other movie props this site has on Instagram, they can’t all be for The Flash?

Ok, this could be a hint that the old Batmobile is back for The Flash. However, I think you’ll agree the evidence is sketchy at best. If Keaton is returning for The Flash which seems almost nailed on at this point, then it would make sense for him to have a Batmobile. However would that car not have changed since we last saw Keaton in Batman Returns? Canonically I think Batman Forever is supposed to follow on from Batman Returns and he had a new car in that?
However, given that I think DC wants to trade on nostalgia for The Flash, and that is one of the most famous of all Batmobile designs, I won’t rule it out. What do you think? Do you agree with fans who think Keaton’s old Batmobile is back for The Flash. Or, are you more skeptical like myself? Leave any thoughts below.
