Finally, no more rumors as the Fantastic Four cast are officially announced by Marvel Studios in a very retro poster, with a new release date. There are no surprises here folks, your cast is, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Richards, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm and Ebon Moss-Bacharach as Ben Grimm/Thing. Just as the Barside Buzz has been reporting now for some time. Check out the poster below that was published on Instagram.

So what can we glean from this poster? Is it possible those 1960’s rumors are true hence the retro look? We could also say that rumors H.E.R.B.I.E is in the movie could be legit based on this. I think we can also probably say Reed and Sue are an item here also. Whether they are already married remains to be seen.

That new release date is July 25, 2025. Which is only just over a month of a delay, but still worth noting.

I am glad Marvel finally just dropped the news on this. We’ve known this was likely the cast and 80% positive on some roles for a while. We even had director Matt Shakman share some Pedro as Reed fan art, which then disappeared from his Insta account.

I actually thought they were going to hold this back till SDCC at this point. Perhaps reports the movie wont begin shooting till later this year are slightly off? After all, once production starts, the cast would be known. I guess we will have to wait and see? However the rumors for this movie have been solid all the way through. So later 24′ seems more likely than earlier.

We have no idea who the main villain of Fantastic Four will be yet? What we have heard is that it will not be Doctor Doom. If Doom does appear, it would be a small tease only. However, scripts get changed all the time before production and during.
