Some big Marvel casting news as Fantastic Four casts Ralph Ineson as Galactus and John Malkovich in an unknown role. We kinda knew Galactus was in the film and were just waiting on the casting announcement ahead of filming. However, I’ll bet not one single rumor site had Ineson’s name on the list. He’s hardly a big name and as such I imagine he’s not that expensive. However, he does a lot of voice work and he even looks a bit Galactus (with some CGI) like. I can see this working well.
Here are the details as per THR;
‘Ralph Ineson, the British actor whose three-decade career ranges from the Harry Potter movies to recent horror prequel The First Omen, has landed the plum part of Galactus, the antagonist in Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four.’
Secondly, we have another veteran actor appearing in Fantastic Four. Deadline reports that John Malkovich has been cast in an unknown role in the film. We could speculate wildly, but the only characters we think are in not yet cast are Doctor Doom and HERBIE. As you can see from the related link below, we had the same discussion and it’s impossible to predict. We just don’t know what other characters will appear in the film outside the big ones rumored. Or I guess we also have Mole Man now as per below.

As per Deadline;
‘John Malkovich (The New Look) is poised to enter the MCU, as Deadline understands that the actor has come aboard for a role in The Fantastic Four.’
‘As with recent addition Paul Walter Hauser, Malkovich’s role is under wraps for now, along with the plot of the superhero flick.’
As you can see, the cast for The Fantastic Four is rounding out nicely. I guess we may already have out Doctor Doom, but I can’t see it being Malkovich and certainly not Hauser. Therefore, we may still have one big role left to find out for this movie. Though, it has been said that if Doom appears in The Fantastic Four, it will just be more of a tease. He is not rumored to be the villain of the film. That, is Ineson’s Galactus, if you can call Galactus a villain that is.
