F. Gary Gray’s FAST 8 is going to be visiting a number of locales. Two of those are near and dear to me: New York (my home) and Cuba, where the maternal half of my family comes from. Pretty cool.
The production is currently Cuba, and are celebrating their arrival on the island nation with this video that includes Gray and a bevy of Cuban ladies. Here it is:

This’ll mark Gray’s return to testosterone-fueled ensemble capers, since the director also handled 2003’s THE ITALIAN JOB. FAST 8 will bring back the core cast of the long-running franchise: Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Dwayne Johnson. Past co-stars like Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, and Lucas Black are expected to appear in the film as well, and the cast will be rounded out by newcomers Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood.
FAST 8 is slated to come out on April 14, 2017.
