It probably comes as no surprise that some of us here at LRM Online are excited for the impending Final Fantasy VII Remake. After a seemingly-endless development cycle, it seemed like this thing would never actually ever hit store shelves, but at this year’s E3, it was revealed that it would hit on March 3, 2020, for a worldwide release.

Tokyo Game Show is happening right now, and Square Enix has taken this opportunity to show off even more of their prized reimagining of perhaps their biggest Final Fantasy game ever. Take a look at the trailer below!

Without a doubt, this was a big, bombastic trailer that was jampacked full of fan service for fans. Not only did it showcase a lot of familiar scenes, but it even showed off some new goodies along with more of the updated battle system.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that we even see Don Corneo, who sounds like he’s played by the great Mark Hamill? Yeah, you’ll want to take a look, because he channels his creepier side for this one.
