We have brand-new official photos that have surfaced of the Terminator reboot, which is being directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by franchise creator James Cameron. Billy Ray (The Hunger Games) is scripting the movie based on an idea from Miller, Cameron and his producing partner David Ellison. While we’ve seen some unofficial behind-the-scenes shots in the past, nothing officially had been shared by the production team…until now that is.
Below you can see an official tweet showing a shot of the main cast as they look all moody and ready for action. Featured are Linda Hamilton reprising her role as Sarah Connor along with Natalia Reyes and Mackenzie Davis. As yet we don’t know what roles Reyes and Davis are playing. However, we can say that Davis is looking very buff and soldier like so I’m guessing she has been sent back from the future at some point.

I am not sure how to feel about this movie, for a start, what do we call it? It seems to be for now titled simply Terminator, which I suppose is slightly different from the original’s title of The Terminator, but still, not much imagination there for me. Then we have the whole timeline and continuity issues, is this movie going to pick and choose which Terminator films to ignore and which to include as part of the canon? Lastly, I just don’t get any good vibes from this photo, there is nothing here that makes me think “Yes, Jim Cameron is back controlling Terminator.” Perhaps it’s just the result of so many misfires regarding this franchise. I still love The Terminator and Terminator 2, but after that, I can easily forget the rest.
Anyway, more important than what I think, is what you think of this image and the new Terminator movie. Sound off below in the usual place.
