Filming has officially begun on the Men in Black sequel/reboot. For now we are calling it Men in Black Spin-Off until we hear the full title, but it is still unclear how this movie will connect if at all, to the originals starring Will Smith. The film could be a sequel or a full reboot of the Men in Black franchise, we won’t know for sure until more details emerge.

Men in Black Spin-Off will star Chris Hemsworth, whom I am sure you will be familiar with as the mighty Thor. Hemsworth will star alongside Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson and they are joined by Liam Neeson (Taken), Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley), and Rafe Spall (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom). Directing will be F. Gary Gray (The Fate of the Furious) from a script by Iron Man writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.
Plot details are thin, but the film is expected to take place predominantly in the United Kingdom with the stars working for the UK branch of the MIB. I suppose this makes a lot of sense given the cast, although Hemsworth is from Australia his accent in the Thor movies has always had a more British ring to it.
Now we have a first set photo of Hemsworth for you to thanks to Just Jared, take a look below.

The Men in Black Spin-Off is due for release on June 14, 2019, around a month after Hemsworth will already have ripped up the box office in Avengers 4. Whether the world will take to this new Men in Black movie remains to be seen.
