First Trailers For Ferdinand Show A Lovable Bull With A Big Heart

Meet Ferdinand. He’s the most kind and gentle bull you’ll ever meet.

From the brilliant mind of Brazilian director Carlos Saldanha (Rio, Ice Age), Ferdinand is based off a lovable children’s book by Munro Leaf.

The film is about a bull, with a big heart, is mistaken for a ferocious dangerous beast. He is captured and taken away as he is very determined to return to his beloved family.

The all-star voice cast will include John Cena, Kate McKinnon, David Tennant, Gina Rodriguez, Bobby Cannavale and Anthony Anderson.

I’m looking forward to Ferdinand since it is based off a popular children’s story. Not to mention Saldanha has brilliantly led animation with Blue Sky Studios outside the well-known properties of Disney, Pixar or even Dreamworks. With Ice Age and Rio under his belt, this may launch a third successful animated property for this.

Ferdinand will be charging into theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
