Barside Buzz today features a Flash Thomson return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Marvel: Zombies Season 2, plus a Doomsday Namor pre-vis description. Let’s begin at the beginning, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. According to scooper Daniel RPK, Tony Revolori returns as Flash Thomson in Brand New Day, reprising his small role from the Spider-Man ‘Home’ trilogy.

Jacob Batalon and Zendaya are returning of course. However, there was no reason to assume Flash would still be around, especially since everyone has forgotten who Peter Parker is. One would assume it is a small role once again for Revolori.

Another piece of gossip from Daniel is that Marvel Studios are moving ahead with developing a second season of mature animated series Marvel: Zombies. One assumes that means that some sort of viewing expectations were met at Disney? I have to say I’ve not watched it yet, mostly because I’m not a fan of anything zombie related. Though, I will get round to it at some point soon.

Meanwhile we have a description of what is claimed to be Avengers: Doomsday pre-vis artwork depicting Namor in an action scene. This is from a new scooper on the scene James Mack. Therefore, please bear in mind I don’t have enough data to rate this source yet. So far I have not shared any of his scoops which all seem to be Doomsday related. I’ll continue to be a sceptic until the evidence stacks up. However, I figured this is possible and harmless (if inaccurate).

Possible, yes, but likely? No more than anything else to be honest. Put it this way, if we don’t get a Namor Tsunami scene in Doomsday, I won’t feel cheated. If we do, then Mack gets some trust points from me.
