Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock! Apple TV Releases The Official Teaser

So Apple TV got their hands on the Fraggles for a reboot and I missed it! Where the hell have I been? Apple TV shared a tweet of the official teaser for Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock and the theme song is just as catchy as ever.

“Let The Music Play…”

I really don’t know how I feel about this. It’s so shocking and I didn’t see this coming. This show was loved by so many and for some reason, a reboot was never a thought for me. The entertainment industry remakes everything else so why not? I did some digging and the news was there, I just missed it. Fraggle Rock came out in 1983 and had five seasons. The show was created by the amazing Jim Henson. He was also known for The Muppets and Sesame Street. Henson really had such a talent for puppetry and he had such a big part of our childhood. I hope our kids love the Fraggles too.

Now, I’m going to have the theme song stuck in my head for hours and I’m not mad about it. Allister’s “Fraggle Rawk” cover keeps popping up in my head as well. Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock will be on Apple TV+ on January 21 and you can watch the original show on Apple TV+ as well.

What do you think of the Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock teaser? Let me know in the comments.
