Funko has unveiled exciting plans for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), introducing the immersive “Funkoville International Airport” booth experience. Running from Wednesday, July 24 through Sunday, July 28, SDCC attendees can embark on a journey through various must-see destinations within Funkoville, featuring popular Funko brands like Pop! Yourself, Loungefly, Mondo, and Funko Fusion.

Pop! Yourself (#5045): Create Your Own Cosplay Character

For the first time at SDCC, Funko fans can experience the Pop! Yourself activation inspired by Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own customized cosplay character, complete with a character body and two additional accessories. The experience includes exclusive Comic-Con packaging, a surprise “buddy” collectible, and access to two unique accessory options: a Deadpool VIP lanyard and a TVA-inspired device. This immersive experience costs $50. Additionally, fans unable to attend SDCC can join the fun online, where they can purchase a limited edition ‘attach pack’ for $20 to cosplay their Funko Pop! as either Deadpool or Wolverine, in addition to the standard $30 Pop! Yourself collectible.

Visitors can explore the Funkoville International Airport, which includes destinations like the Loungefly baggage claim and the Mondo arcade. Exclusive Comic-Con items from these beloved brands will be available for purchase, with more details to be revealed soon. Funko Fusion (#5137): Spin the Wheel for Prizes

In celebration of the upcoming AAA video game ‘Funko Fusion,’ set to release on September 13, fans can try their luck on the “Funko Fusion Machine Game” at the event. By spinning the wheel, attendees have the chance to win instant prizes. The game features a mashup of characters and worlds from favorite franchises, promising a unique action-adventure experience.

Funko Passport Program: Collect Unique Stamps

Enhancing the immersive experience, the Funko Passport Program allows fans to purchase a Funko Passport book for $5 at the Passport Station in Funkoville. Participants can collect four unique stamps from Funko, Mondo, Loungefly, and Funko Fusion, making for a memorable souvenir from SDCC.

Funko Fundays: A Fantastic Voyage

Continuing its annual tradition, Funko Fundays will take place over two nights, Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27, under the Fantastic Voyage theme.
