FURIOUS 7 exceeded all expectation when it hit theaters last year. Sure, given actor Paul Walker’s untimely and tragic death, it was expected that many would pay their ticket just to see how the series would pay homage to its lead, but no one expected it to do the numbers it did. By the end of its theater run, the film took in over $1.5 billion worldwide, currently placing it at number six in all time worldwide box office grosses.

That’s definitely a lot of pressure going into FURIOUS 8, which will only be the second film not to feature Paul Walker. But the production has moved forward with the rest of the cast intact and STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON director F. Gary Gray at the helm. When all said and done, the franchise seems to be in safe hands.

Production for FURIOUS 8 has been underway for the past few months, though it looks like only this past week has Dom’s entire crew been assembled in its entirety. To commemorate, they made a fun little video.

As you can see, the behind-the-scenes video features the return of Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jason Statham, and of course, Vin Diesel. Joining the cast is franchise newcomer Scott Eastwood. Also present in the video is film director F. Gary Gray himself.
