The Synopsis

Feeling career burn out, pop star Angelina (Aimee Garcia, “Dexter”) escapes to grant a young fan’s wish in small town New York, where she not only finds the inspiration to revitalize her career but also a shot at true love.

The Argentinian writer and director has maintained an international career juggling filmmaking for the English and Spanish speaking market. After a couple of short films she made her debut with The Woman Every Man Wants. A film that granted her several wins in various film festivals. Since then she has worked on projects like Ladies’ Night, Without Men starring Eva Langoria, The Mule starring Sharon Stone, the Mexican film  Como Cortar Con Un Patán and Netflix Spaniard hit A Pesar De Todo

I was connected via Zoom with Gabriela Tagliavini to discuss the making of Christmas With You. Tagliavini discussed the challenges in working with snow in a film. In addition to being proud of making a holiday film that is multicultural and adding some of the known Latin holiday traditions. In addition to a little bit of her Spanish future project.
