Star Wars comic book fans were treated to a sneak peek today as the covers for the debut issue were unveiled, including a stunning connecting piece by the illustrious Mico Suayan that will span the first four issues of the series. To preserve the excitement, Suayan’s final masterpiece will be unveiled at a later date.
The narrative of this new series picks up in the aftermath of the astonishing events of Phase I, as Jedi Master Keeve Trennis, now a formidable presence in the galaxy, wages a heroic battle to reunite the fractured Jedi and rekindle hope across the far reaches of the universe. With fresh heroes, enigmatic mysteries, and formidable threats, the High Republic tales are set centuries prior to the iconic events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, inviting fans into a hitherto unexplored era when the Jedi Order stood at the pinnacle of its power.
