Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut Announcement Trailer Out Today

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since Ghost of Tsushima was released. Sucker Punch Productions put in a lot of work taking research trips and receiving help from Japan Studio to make the game look as real and authentic as possible. Also, they made sure they developed a game that had amazing quality overall and now, we’re getting more of Ghost of Tsushima. PlayStation has released the trailer for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut and it looks great!

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut coming August 20

The New Additions To The Game

The director’s cut will have Iki Island added to the game. Additionally, there will be new mini-games, new enemies, and a lot more. The PS5 version will have new features like adaptive triggers, Japanese lip-sync, and haptic feedback. Also added for the PS5 is 3D audio, 4K resolution options, and framerates targeting 60 FPS.

Ghost of Tsushima is set during the first Mongol invasion. Iki Island was one of the islands invaded so additions to the game’s story will be fun to explore as well as the island itself.

You can pre-order the director’s cut digitally or at major retailers. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be released on August 20 for $69.99 for the PS5 and $59.99 for the PS4. If you already own Ghost of Tsushima on the PS4, the upgrade will be $19.99. It’s still hard to buy a PS5 at a good price so I guess we’ll get the upgrade.
