Hopefully, you didn’t have your heart set on that Ghost Rider series over at Hulu. Gabriel Luna was set to reprise his Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. role as Robbie Reyes in what was a straight-to-series order from the now-Disney-owned streaming service. This was great news for fans of the character, as well as those hoping for a mature take on him.
Unfortunately, according to THR, Hulu has scrapped its plans to create a series, with sources pointing to “creative issues.” Of course, we really don’t know what those creative issues are, but it sounds like the series is dead as a doornail.

This past May, Ghost Rider and Helstrom were both given series orders. As of this writing, it sounds like Helstrom is still moving forward, even as Ghost Rider falters.
Of course, if you still want your Marvel fix, Runaways is still on Hulu, and there are still five interconnected animated comedies on the way like MODOK, Hit-Monkey, Tigra & Dazzler Show, Howard the Duck, and The Offenders.
