Wanna see some Ghostbusters: Afterlife reactions? The movie had a surprise CinemaCon screening yesterday and some of the fans who got to see the movie have been sharing their thoughts online. The buzz so far, is excellent. I mean a lot of hype, people claiming this is the best Ghostbusters film since the original, or even better in some cases etc. I’m not so sure about that, but they can’t all be wring, can they?
Well, yes, they can depending on your own tastes, but until you see it for yourself, or some full reviews hit, for now this will have to do.
First off LRM‘s own Gig Patta who was lucky enough to see the movie yesterday.
My CinemaCon reaction to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, is a film full of nostalgia that makes you'll cry. Okay, it made me cry. I feel like a 10-year-old kid self again after this movie.

And now for a collection of other responses I was able to come across online.
Mainly, it packs so much into it, there are big leaps in logic & plot that hold it back from really firing on every cylinder. When it works though? Especially the kid stuff? Damn, it works. Just at times, it doesn’t. Overall though, I cheered, cried, & can’t wait to watch again

I saw GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE. Sorry, no review. But what I can say is that it’s the best of the series, full stop. Stupendously well written, not leaning too hard on nostalgia, and telling a story better than even the original could muster. A winner in every sense. #CinemaCon

Saw #GhostbustersAfterlife at CinemaCon and it’s good. A solid continuation of the original two films. Nostalgia for the original, and a strong turn by McKenna Grace as Egon’s granddaughter. Paul Rudd gets the best lines. Fans will dig it. pic.twitter.com/MgBXmEVWqz

#GhostbustersAfterlife was really great. As someone who wasn't a massive of #Ghostbusters I had so much fun even without understanding the references. A ton of heart with a great cast. New and old fans are going to love it. Stay through the credits! #CinemaCon pic.twitter.com/Gc3oySIXOa

No one is spoiling any details which is great. However that positivity is infectious. Honestly I am trying to not let it infect me though. I always figured if Ghostbusters: Afterlife was a half decent movie, I’d be happy. I never expected it would live up to the hype, that just seemed like Sony trying to sell nostalgia tickets to me. However, maybe it is a bit better than that?
For a start, it would be no task at all for Ghostbusters: Afterlife to be the second best Ghostbusters movie. The sequel was bang average and the reboot was horrible. Being second best though, does not mean it would necessarily be a comparable movie with the original. It’s hard to recapture that lightning in a bottle that the first Ghostbusters was.
What do you think of these Ghostbusters: Afterlife reactions. Do you think this will be as good as these early reactions claim? As always, leave any thoughts you have below, We’re ready, to believe you!
