LRM Online’s Gig Patta talked extensively with comic author and illustrator James Jochalka on his latest installment into his children’s series.

James Kochalka is best known for his works in Monkey vs Robot series, the frat house comedy series SuperF*ckers, the children’s series Johnny Boo, and Dragon Puncher. Also, he had a decade-long daily diary comic known as American Elf. He developed animated cartoons for Nickelodeon and Cartoon Hangover. For the State of Vermont, he was appointed as the first official Cartoonist Laureate for the state in 2011. He won four Ignatz Awards, Harvey Award, and the Eisner Award. In other works, he recorded several music albums under the name James Kochalka Superstar.
