Are you still saddened to hear that the Avengers 4 trailer is likely NOT dropping this week? I’ll admit, I’m pretty bummed about it myself. Sure, we’ll be getting sooner rather than later, but I already had my heart set on yesterday. But, of course, Avengers 4 isn’t the only big moving coming out in the near future.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters director Michael Dougherty recently took to Twitter to share with his followers that a new trailer for his movie would be premiering this coming Sunday on December 9 at Brazil Comic Con. You know what that means? It means we will likely be getting to see the trailer hit the web soon after.

I have to say. I’m pretty jazzed about this. I had the opportunity to attend San Diego Comic-Con this past July, and while there were a lot of amazing trailers I was able to witness in the legendary Hall H, the one that really struck a chord with me was the most unexpected: Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Sure, I like Godzilla, and I really enjoyed Kong: Skull Island, but the 2014 film left me a little deflated for the character doing forward.

But when that trailer hit, between its gorgeous imagery and music, I was completely captivated. I hadn’t realized I’d wanted to see all these other Kaiju until I saw the trailer, and it had me stoked not only for this next film, but for the MonsterVerse as a whole. Needless to say, I will be keeping an eye out for this trailer.
