Grant Feeley Confirms Luke Skywalker Casting For Obi-Wan Kenobi

Original Obi-Wan Kenobi Plot Was About Ben And Luke Confirms McGregor

Young actor Grant Feeley confirms Luke Skywalker casting for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Feeley was heavily rumored to be playing Luke already. Now the young lad has confirmed the news on Instagram as you can see below. Alongside Feeley, the other Skywalker twin, Leia, is rumored to be played by Vivien Lyra Blair in the show. Now, no one in their right mind is predicting these young actors will share any screen time together. That would be a canon destroying moment of Death Star like proportions.

However both of these young actor’s youthful faces will forever be the live-action canon of what Luke and Leia looked like as 10-year old kids. Though as Jake Lloyd found out that’s not always the best thing. Unlike Lloyd though, no one is going to asking these youngsters to carry the show, both are likely small parts, especially Feeley as Luke. I really can’t see much interaction between Luke and ‘Ben’ that would make sense. Going off of the ANH dialogue it is clear Luke has met Ben before, but hardly knew him well given his Uncle’s determination to separate them.

It certainly looks as though Obi-Wan is keeping an eye on Luke from afar in the trailer. If we assume the side by side shots in the header above are linked, which most fans are. However one wonders if Luke will be present in the scenes form the trailer where Owen Lars is confronted by Reva the Inquisitor. That would surely get Obi-Wan’s heart beat racing?

What do you think as Grant Feeley confirms Luke Skywalker casting for Obi-Wan Kenobi? What are you most looking forward to seeing in Obi-Wan Kenobi when it hits Disney+?Thoughts below as always.
