Giants Being Lonely

Coming of age story Giants Being Lonely was acquired by Gravitas Ventures to be released in theaters.

The film made its world premiere at the 2019 Venice Film Festival with critical acclaim.

It is set in a semi-rural enclave, Giants Being Lonely follows high school seniors Adam, Bobby, and Caroline as they navigate their final year together through the ups and downs of love, sex, loneliness, friendship, baseball, and death—as the pressure mounts to make it out alive.

Grear Patterson makes his debut feature as a writer and director. He was a renowned mixed-media artist that focused on similar themes of adolescence and Americana.

“It’s rare when you find a coming of age film that feels truly authentic, but that is exactly what Grear has crafted with Giants Being Lonely,” stated Gravitas Ventures’ manager of acquisition Brett Rogalsky.
