No doubt that The Office is one of the most valuable sitcom properties for streaming. Die-hard fans would stream hours of The Office all day to watch the hijinks at the Scranton office of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.

Greg Daniels, one of the creators of the American of the show, expected it to be a hit, but nine seasons became a dream that came true. Daniels created the show along with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.

Now The Office becomes an anchor property for the streaming service Peacock after years on Netflix. All the episodes through nine seasons are available on the streaming service for paid members. A few seasons are available for free.

Also, starting with season three, Peacock features “Superfan Episodes” that are extended without never seen before footage for some of the episodes. More of these types of episodes will be available in March.

The premise of the show is about a company led by the comically incompetent Michael Scott. Employees plod along at Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton office branch, where foibles, feuds, and office romances unfold through the lens of an ever-present documentary crew.
