Halloween Ends Featurette | Jamie Lee Curtis Talks About “The Final Battle”

Halloween Ends

Halloween Ends promises the final battle over 40 years in the making. In one corner is the seemingly immortal Michael Myers who does not let anything get in his way. On the other side is Laurie Strode, his sister, aka the first final girl, that has prepared her entire life for this moment. This confrontation may be one for the horror history books as this trilogy comes to a conclusion.

To prepare for this war, Universal Pictures has released a new featurette, that talks more about this “final battle” in Halloween Ends. You can check it out below!

Horror Icon Jamie Lee Curtis has now portrayed Laurie for more than four decades. One of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema. Who better to talk about this epic battle than her? We have seen in the last two movies how Laurie has stayed vigilant for the arrival of Michael Myers. So what happens when she’s trying to move on and he returns? Will she be able to overcome his rage?

Here is the synopsis for Universal Pictures’ Halloween Ends

In this unexpected final chapter, set four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life.

But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

Halloween Ends co-stars returning cast Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as The Shape.

Halloween Ends on October 14 in theaters everywhere and streaming on Peacock.
