For many years, the video game-to-screen concept of Halo was in development hell as numerous attempts were made to make it as a film or television series, and even the pandemic stalled it. Now the wait is nearly over as Halo the Series is just right around the corner on Paramount+
The trailer premiered during the half-time show of the AFC championship.

Dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant, Halo the series will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

The series stars Pablo Schreiber (the Master Chief, Spartan John-117), Natascha McElhone (Dr. Halsey), Jen Taylor (Cortana), Bokeem Woodbine (Soren-066), Shabana Azmi (Admiral Margaret Parangosky), Natasha Culzac (Riz-028), Olive Gray (Miranda Keyes, Yerin Ha (Kwan Ha Boo), Bentley Kalu (Vannak-134), Kate Kennedy (Kai-125), Charlie Murphy (Makee), and Danny Sapani (Captain Jacob Keyes).

Halo is one of the most successful video games that launched for the Xbox back in 2001. Many sequels and iterations came along that people grew to love in this constant battle for Halo. Throughout all those games, mysteries still surround the actual face of Master Chief and yet the love of Cortana as his personal computer assistant.
Paramount+ streams the new original series on Thursday, March 24.
